Southern Rhône Valley own-appellation wine (cru) Grape varieties - Grenache (60%), Syrah (20%) and Mourvèdre (15%) Red earth and rolled drift pebbles (ancient alluviums deposited by the Rhône)

Vinification

Bunches destemmed and each varietal vinified separately Blending following malolactic fermentation and transfer to barrels in the spring following the harvest

Ageing

20% barrel-matured prior to maturation in unlabelled bottles

Colour

Attractive deep, brilliant red in colour

Nose

Aromatic and elegant with notes of fruit and spice

Palate

A soft, full wine of exceptional elegance with an extremely silky-textured finish

Wines & Food Pairing

Best served at 16°-17°C (61°-63°F) An ideal accompaniment to Mediterranean bluefin tuna, aromatic red meat (e.g. lamb) and mild cheese
