Grape variety: (AOC red wine exclusively) Black grenache , Syrah, Mourvèdre
It is the most meridional appellation "Côte du Rhône Village" with a geographic name displayed on four districts: 'Domazan, Estézargues, Rochefort du Gard, Saze'.
Soils : terraces of pebbles on pliocene sand and marl , reddened by iron oxide
Climate : with an intermediate altitude about 150 meters above the Rhône, the climate is mediterranean, warm, dried and very influenced by the mistral wind
