Locality: Potentially, the entire Anjou and Touraine AOC appellation areas (that follow their respective vinegrowing regulations).
The wine
Annual production: Around 45 000 hl for 750 ha, Mainly Anjou
Basic yield: 60 hl/ha
Grape varieties: Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay.
Main vine-tending methods: Density of 4000 to 5000 vines/ha. Simple or double Guyot pruning.
Colour
Sensory characteristics: Crystalline robe that goes from pale pink with gray glints to raspberry pink with orangey tints.
Nose
A very aromatic nose with notes of small red fruit (strawberry, raspberry, red currant), violet and boiled sweet.
Palate
A light, supple mouthfeel that is delicate and refreshing.
