Côte Chalonnaise Grape variety : Chardonnay Marl or clay soil with limestone predominant

Vinification

Manual harvest Vinification in stainless steel vats and in oak barrel, 1/5 of which are new

Ageing

At the end of spring when malo-lactic fermentation is finished, the cellar master creates a blend to get the oaked feel we're looking for All the wine is then placed in stainless steel vats where it is fined before bottling in September

Colour

Tender yellow with hints of lime-tree blossom

Nose

Lightly oaked but the fruit predominates

Palate

The perfect balance for this wine which is endowed with both fattiness and tonus The Chardonnay expresses itself of course, with grapefruit notes mingling with a touch of mineral

Wines & Food Pairing

This wine goes very well with shellfish and fish 'en papillote' A platter of delicatessen meats or a blue cheese would also make great partners for it
