A great wine from the Southern Rhône Valley
Grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault from selected plots on the left and right banks of the Rhône River to create a Blason du Rhône style.
Vinification
Several different winemaking methods are used to create Blason du Rhône
Ageing
Part of the wine spends time in oak barrels to gain roundness and vanilla notes
Colour
A beautiful dense shiny crimson robe
Nose
Red fruit (cherry, blackcurrant) and dried fruit (prune and vanilla) aromas mingle with notes of sweet spice
Palate
A generous, full, silky mouthfeel with a very flavourful ending
Wines & Food Pairing
Serve at 16°-17° C
With pork cuts, flavourful red meet and mild hard cheeses
