Distillerie Girard

" Aperitifs and liqueurs from Provence "
Equipped with an innovative production unit for aromatics research into different aomas, the Distillerie Girard shows original savoir-faire in the use of aromatic extracts of plants, spices and fruits. Their favourite field is the elaboration of aperitifs and liqueurs from Provence but also modern liqueurs, colourless spirits (gins, tequilas, vodkas, rums), whiskies and also brandies.
The distillery's current activity has its origins in the house's history. In 1924, Jules Girard began producing Pastis, liqueurs and eau-de-vie. His workshop was based in the town of his birth, Jonquières, in the heart of the Vaucluse, where you can find aromatic and medocinal plants (mint, thyme, rosemary, fennel and liquorice). He obtains his supplies directly from the port of Marseille for cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla, coriander and aniseed from China to elaborate the best aperetifs made to recipes from long ago.
